Unitree published the As2-W, a wheeled-leg member of its As2 industrial quadruped family that combines high-speed rolling with legged obstacle crossing for stairs, gravel and slopes.
Per Unitree’s As2-W product page, the platform is about 25 kg with battery, lists peak joint torque around 95 N·m, continuous walking payload about 16 kg, static standing load about 150 kg, slope capability about 45°, max climb height roughly 0.4–0.8 m, IP54, and a stated maximum speed over 6 m/s. Treat these as vendor figures until independently measured on RobotVersus.
Pure quadrupeds trade speed for terrain; wheeled platforms lose stairs. Wheel-leg hybrids are the industrial middle path Hangzhou makers are iterating — Yangtzeer frames As2-W against DEEP Robotics’ Lynx wheeled-leg line, which already appears in the RobotVersus catalogue under deeprobotics.
RobotVersus already lists Unitree’s earlier wheeled-leg A2-W (unitree-a2-w) alongside Go2. As2-W is the newer As2-family SKU on Unitree’s site — keep names distinct until a dedicated As2-W row is sourced. Pricing in secondary outlets is reported only when used with attribution.
