The full inventory. If something is not in this table, we are not setting it. Cookiebot’s live declaration below this page also lists tags it has scanned.
| Name | What it is for | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
rv_sessionCookie, strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in after you log in. HTTP-only, so no script can read it, and same-site, so it does not travel to other sites. | Matches the sign-in: until the session expires, or until you sign out. Deleting it signs you out in that browser. |
NEXT_LOCALECookie, strictly necessary | Remembers which language version to serve when you open a URL without a language prefix. Set by the site framework when it resolves a language for you. | Up to a year, or until you clear it. |
rv_compare_slugsLocal storage | The robots currently in your comparison tray, so the tray survives a page reload. | Until you clear it or clear your browser storage. |
rv:recent-searchesLocal storage | Your last few searches, offered back to you in the search box. | Until you clear it or clear your browser storage. |
Cookiebot cookies(e.g. CookieConsent) | Cookiebot consent banner: stores which categories you accepted or declined so the choice survives reloads. | As set by Cookiebot (typically up to one year). |
Google Analytics cookies(e.g. _ga, _ga_*)Only after statistics consent | Audience measurement via Google Analytics (measurement ID G-QCJJPLZKVY): page views and basic traffic. Loaded only after you grant statistics in Cookiebot. | As determined by Google Analytics (typically up to two years for _ga). |
The compare and search local-storage keys stay in your browser and never reach our server.
The site is served through Cloudflare, which handles DNS, encryption and protection against attack. Cloudflare may set a security cookie of its own — __cf_bm is the usual one — to tell automated traffic apart from people. It is a security measure, it is not used for advertising or profiling, and we cannot read it.
What we hold once you do sign in is a separate question, answered in the privacy notice.
