These terms are between you and Robotversus.com, and they cover robotversus.com and its subdomains. Using the site means accepting them. How we handle personal data is a separate document: the privacy notice.
The catalogue is free to read, with or without an account, and it is meant to be quoted. Cite a figure, link to the page it came from, and you are within the rules — an attributed number that sends the reader to the evidence is the point of the exercise.
What is not allowed:
Programmatic access is by arrangement, not by scraping. There is no public API today; the API page takes applications and approved applicants get documentation and a key.
A review stays yours. By posting one you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide right to publish, edit for length and clarity, and translate it on the site, for as long as it is published.
Product names, model numbers, logos and product images belong to their manufacturers and appear here to identify what is being described. Their presence is identification, not endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship — in either direction.
Our own writing, the scoring method, the structure of the catalogue and the database compiled from it remain ours. Quoting with attribution and a link is fine; republishing substantial parts is not.
If you hold rights in something published here and believe it should not be, write to [email protected] with the page, the material and the basis of the claim. We will look at it and remove or correct rather than stall.
The site is provided as it stands. We work at it continuously, which also means features change, pages move and the service is occasionally down; there is no uptime commitment attached to reading a free catalogue.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or savings, or for decisions taken on the basis of anything published here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing affects the statutory rights of a consumer.
These terms change as the product does. The version and effective date at the top move with any substantive change, material changes are announced in the newsletter, and continuing to use the site after that date is acceptance of the new version.
We may stop offering the service, or a part of it. You can end this agreement whenever you like by deleting your account and closing the tab.
Until a registered legal entity is named as operator, these terms do not nominate a specific governing law or court. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections where you live still apply.
Before any of that: write to us. Most disputes about a catalogue are disputes about a number, and a number is something we can check.
Questions about these terms go to [email protected]; a wrong figure goes to [email protected] or through the contact page, where corrections are answered first.
Something here unclear or wrong? Tell us and we will fix the wording rather than defend it.
