At WAIC 2026 in Shanghai, KEENON Robotics put humanoid and specialized service robots on the same commercial workflow rather than treating them as rival product lines. A 17 July company release frames the booth as proof of a “general-purpose humanoid + specialized service robot” model: flexible manipulation and interaction on the humanoid side, high-frequency delivery and cleaning on purpose-built platforms.
The clearest demo is a hotel laundry scene — humanoids load and run washers, retrieve clean laundry and fold garments while a DINERBOT T9 covers the delivery loop around them. KEENON extends the same role split into F&B and retail colour with XMAN-R1 (including a NOWWA Coffee drink-prep bit), saying tasks run autonomously without teleoperation. The release cites IDC ranking KEENON first worldwide in commercial service-robot shipments in 2025 and notes multi-robot sites such as Hotel Around Pyeongchang (10–20+ units) and Shangri-La’s Trader Hotel (eight robots across six types). Separate Hotel Around coverage describes a ~10-unit mixed fleet of delivery, cleaning and restaurant models — the field half of the same strategy.
