London-based Humanoid has raised $152 million in a Series A round at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation. The company’s 21 July announcement says the round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital and Aglaé Ventures, bringing total capital raised to $270 million about two years after founding.
The operational hook is manufacturing, not only the cheque. Humanoid says Robert Bosch Robotics will act as contract manufacturer for its wheel-based industrial humanoids, contributing hardware design, production and supply-chain expertise. Schaeffler appears as both strategic investor and commercial partner; the company claims a large-scale manufacturing deployment agreement covering thousands of robots. Proceeds are framed around a next-generation platform, proprietary AI stack KinetIQ, and beta robot roll-outs starting in Q4 2026. The Next Web separately reports an earlier Siemens Erlangen factory demo in which a wheeled unit ran an eight-hour autonomous shift at about 60 tote moves per hour with pick-and-place success above 90 percent — treat that as secondary colour, not a catalogue spec sheet.
The company is listed as Humanoid (United Kingdom; founded 2024; thehumanoid.ai). Coverage names the HMND 01 platform with wheeled and bipedal variants, but there is not yet a sourced robot page for that SKU. Read this piece as a funding-and-manufacturing milestone, not as a complete product datasheet.
Humanoid’s “Europe’s first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn” line is company framing. The Next Web notes that Germany’s Neura Robotics has been reported at a much higher valuation in 2026, so treat European “first unicorn” language carefully. Company-claimed pre-order counts and multi-billion-dollar backlog figures circulating in secondary coverage are not independently verified here and are omitted as catalogue facts. Humanoid has not yet shipped a commercial production unit according to that same reporting — beta hardware is still ahead.
